Key Definitions

An End Product is the final artwork or product you create using assets you purchased from the Flyerwrk Shop. This can include both digital and physical items, like posters, websites, or social media graphics.

A Licensed Asset is a product you buy from Flyerwrk with specific usage rights, outlined in the license agreement. We offer various licenses, such as Personal, Commercial, Extended, and Font Licenses, each catering to different needs. You can choose the license that best fits your project.

The Licensee is the person or business who purchases a licensed asset from Flyerwrk. You, as the buyer, are responsible for selecting the appropriate license based on your intended use of the asset.

In simple terms, a Native App is an application you download from app stores like Apple App Store or Google Play, while a Web App is accessed directly through a web browser, like Flyerwrk's website.

Lifetime Views refer to the total number of times a video has been watched for at least 3 seconds, regardless of whether it was discovered organically or through sponsored promotion.

Prohibited Use

Flyerwrk assets are designed to fuel your creative projects, and we want to ensure you have the freedom to express yourself. However, to maintain the value and integrity of our work, we kindly ask you to refrain from the following.

These rules apply to all items you purchase from Flyerwrk, including fonts, freebies, and products downloaded under any license, including the personal license.

  • Selling the Licensed Asset "as is": You cannot directly resell the purchased asset without modification.
  • Selling modifications of the asset on their own: Modifications must be part of a larger design and cannot be sold separately.
  • Sharing the asset for download, extraction, or redistribution: This includes sharing links or methods that allow others to obtain your purchased asset.
  • Using the asset in harmful or offensive content: This includes content that is fraudulent, immoral, infringing, illegal, harassing, offensive, or defamatory.
  • Claiming ownership or authorship of the asset: You acknowledge that Flyerwrk retains ownership and authorship of the licensed asset.
  • Acquiring the asset through unauthorized means: This includes downloading it for free from unauthorized websites or peer-to-peer networks.

Personal License

This license is ideal for non-commercial projects where there is no potential for monetary gain. This means you cannot use the assets for any business or organization (for-profit or non-profit) or to create products intended for sale.

Think of it as fueling your personal creative endeavors, like graphics for your hobbies.

A Personal License is ideal for non-commercial projects with no financial gain involved. Think personal websites or social media for hobbies. For projects with potential financial gain, like client work or products for sale, you'll need a Commercial License or Extended License.

Sure! But the purpose of your artwork matters. If it's for a non-commercial account, a Personal License covers you. However, if your design is promoting a product or service (even indirectly), you'll need a Commercial or Extended License.

This one might surprise you! Even though it's a non-profit event, you'll technically need a Commercial License since it's for promotional purposes. However, we love supporting good causes! Feel free to contact us, and we might be able to work something out.

Absolutely! A Personal License is all you need when there's no money involved. Have a blast at your family gathering!

Depends on the context. If it's a non-commercial presentation, a Personal License might suffice. However, if the presentation is used for business purposes, a Commercial License might be required.

Oops! We've all been there. Don't worry, these things happen. If you accidentally purchase the wrong license, just shoot us a quick email and let us know. We'll be happy to help you upgrade or exchange your license to ensure it fits your needs perfectly.

Commercial License

This license allows you to use the assets in commercial projects that involve direct or indirect financial gain. This covers a wide range, from designing for clients to creating products you sell. However, it's important to note that this license is intended for a single user and covers up to 5,000 end products for sale, along with one business social media account.

If you anticipate exceeding these limits or require the asset for multiple users, consider the Extended License for more extensive coverage.

Absolutely! Since your client will be purchasing the end product you create, you (as the designer) need to hold the license. This license covers up to 5,000 end products, so be sure to factor that into your pricing for the client.

Congratulations on your success! If your business is booming and you exceed the 5,000 mark, you can upgrade to a higher licence at any time in your account.

The Commercial License is for single-user applications. You need a separate licence for each seat. If you have a larger team, please contact us.

This is a perfect use case for the Commercial License! It covers promotion across social media and traditional avenues for your business. However, if you manage social media for multiple accounts, you'll need the Extended License.

That depends on your production volume. If you plan to sell more than 5,000 T-shirts, the Extended Commercial Licence is the best choice. If you only sell a smaller quantity, the Commercial Licence is sufficient.

Extended License

Similar to the Commercial License, the Extended License is for commercial projects with direct or indirect financial gain. It offers broader coverage, allowing you to create up to 250,000 end products for sale and use the assets across unlimited business social media accounts.

This license is ideal for businesses, agencies, or individuals who need to use the assets for large-scale projects or by multiple team members.

Absolutely! Just like with the Commercial License, you (the designer) need to hold the license when creating client work. The Extended License covers up to a whopping 250,000 end products, so take on those big projects!

Wow, that's some serious creative output! If you find yourself exceeding the 250,000 limit, no worries. Just reach out to us and we'll create a custom solution to fit your needs.

The Extended License is perfect for logo design. However, it's important to remember that the trademark applies to your overall logo design, not the individual asset itself. When filing your trademark, you'll need to disclaim the FLYERWRK asset portion.

This scenario requires a custom license. Since your clients will be creating products with our assets, it falls outside the standard Extended License. We'll be happy to work with you to craft a license that perfectly fits your unique print-on-demand business model.
